“The construction is solid. The stirrup is of a substantial rubber type of material. The buckle is well built. The main material is just like you want it: not too heavy, but just enough to keep debris like tiny stones and twigs from getting inside your shoe.”

“These would be very nice for hiking or running in sand, dirt, or mud, to keep debris, pine needles, etc. from entering your shoe or boot, but probably would not last long on sharp rocky terrain, given the strap design (which is not replaceable).”

“Works with Vibram five fingers, just looped some hair ties around my toes. We will see how the bottom strap holds up to the miles... but so far I really like them.”

“They’ve held up to sharp, wild blackberry thorns and kept dirt and mud out of my boots. … Definitely water resistant, not waterproof. I’d avoid the colder environments and opt for something with an inner liner.”

“I thought they would just make me hotter but these actually feel very lightweight and breathable. … They're pretty easy to use as long as you remember to put them on before you put your boot/shoe on.”

“At the end of the day, after bailing on the wagon and unloading in the barn, my shoes had no straw in them!! Room for improvement. After 3 days in a row, my skin was not happy with the elastic pull cord around the ankle (felt bruised).”
“These trail running gaiters are excellent for keeping pebbles, dirt, and debris out of your shoes. They’re lightweight, so you barely notice them while running or hiking, yet they feel built strong and durable. The fit is snug and secure, staying in place during activity.”
